    SENIOR PARTNER/GLOBAL ADVISER

    Ron Lanton serves as a Senior Partner at Lanton, Lanton & Sosa Law, where he advises healthcare organizations, technology companies, and regulated businesses on regulatory compliance, operational risk, and complex decision-making.

    Ron’s practice is centered on acting as external general counsel to organizations that operate in highly regulated environments but do not require—or desire—full-time in-house legal departments. He works closely with executive teams and boards to help them interpret regulatory requirements, assess contractual and operational risk, and make defensible decisions before issues escalate into enforcement actions or disputes.

    His work spans healthcare regulation, pharmacy and payor contracting, compliance oversight, audit readiness, and governance matters, with a particular focus on aligning legal requirements with real-world operations. Clients value Ron’s ability to translate regulatory complexity into practical guidance that supports growth while reducing exposure.

    In addition to legal counsel, Ron brings deep experience in legislative and regulatory policy, allowing clients to better understand how evolving laws and regulations may affect business strategy. This policy insight complements—but remains distinct from—his legal advisory role.

    Casandra Lanton is the firm’s Chief Legal Officer. Here she blends litigation experience, strategic insight, and business acumen to deliver targeted legal counsel for startups, healthcare providers, and technology entrepreneurs. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Casandra is a graduate of Miami University and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She began her career in litigation before transitioning into healthcare lobbying, which helped shape her unique approach to legal risk management and business strategy.

    Fluent in Spanish and deeply attuned to the complex regulatory terrain that healthcare and technology clients face, Casandra brings a rare mix of legal skill and industry knowledge to every engagement. Her practice focuses on employment law, contract drafting and negotiation, and advising early-stage companies on legal structures that support growth while mitigating risk. Whether working with a healthcare startup navigating federal and state compliance or a scaling tech firm managing human resource concerns, Casandra offers more than legal advice—she offers advocacy.

  • Maria Sosa, Esq.

    MANAGING PARTNER
    Maria Sosa is the Managing Partner of Lanton, Lanton & Sosa Law, PLLC, where she leads the firm’s commercial real estate and advocacy practices while guiding the firm’s strategic growth. She advises business owners, investors, healthcare providers, associations and organizations on complex transactions, regulatory compliance, and high-stakes legal matters.

    With more than two decades of professional and legal experience, Maria brings a results-driven approach to commercial real estate acquisitions, development projects, due diligence, and business structuring. Her work also includes regulatory and government advocacy through the firm’s lobbying arm, Lanton Strategies International, where she supports U.S. based clients navigating legislative and compliance challenges.

    Maria has built a distinguished career across both public and private sectors, managing complex business transactions, regulatory matters, and strategic legal initiatives.

    In addition to her legal practice, Maria serves as an Adjunct Professor at LCCC, where she teaches legal, business, and urban studies courses. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, originally from Puerto Rico, and remains actively engaged in community service and professional advocacy.
